Summary/Abstract: In self evaluating themselves, children usually make mistakes. The author, therefore, holds that children should be trained in self evaluation from an early age. He presents the results of the research he conducted in an fourth grade elementary school class. The activities organized gave students a chance to correctly judge and grade their capabilities and to show their true values. During the research period, lasting for 45 days, the class' aspiration rose by 0.20 index points. Correlation coefficient at the beginnings was Q=O.76, while at the end of research it reached 0.81. The results of this research call on teachers to use various school activities to enhance the level of aspiration in students. This will also influence the overall success of the students.
