Digitization of Book Reading Among Students – an International Survey

Summary/Abstract: The development of information technology has led, among others, to widespreaddigitization of books. Beside printed books, the new forms are commonly available:audiobooks and e-books. The article presents the results of the survey on the popularityof book reading forms in comparable groups of students from four countries: the Netherlands,New Zealand, Poland and Turkey, as well as an attempt to explain the causes ofobserved differences.
