Summary/Abstract: Michał Borczuch explains his relationship to childhood as a condition marked by an unconscious and intuitive experience of the world, and an expansion of knowledge. The most important thing is being fascinated by the mystery of reality. The director tries to evoke this fascination in his plays, giving it to both the actors and the viewers. Speaking of his latest play, The Snow Queen, he notes that he sought to build a reality to communicate with the adult viewer, while maintaining a child’s sensitivity and the magic of the world present in Andersen’s text.
