Polish Non-Governmental Organisations as Beneficiaries of European Funds

Summary/Abstract: Non-governmental organisations are in the group of entities eligible to receive a part of money from the EU budget. An aim of considerations is to show the importance of EU funds for Polish NGOs. The author showed the place of funds in the structure of sources of financing organisations. She also identified the scope of the use of funds. Polish NGOs are more and more effective in applying for support from the EU funds. However, activity in achievement thereof is different. In her article, the author used various sources, including those of the Ministry of Regional Development and the Society called Klon/Jawor (Maple/Sycamore). The article is of the review nature.
