Summary/Abstract: In the study the fieldwork research method are used. The subject of research is analyzing the information related to visiting phenomenon common among Yedi Bucak Avsars, known for their Alawite identity who live in Karpınar, İğdeli, Yerlikuyu, Kaleköy, Burunören villages that are part of Sarıoglan District in Kayseri. In the period of recovery of the products observation and interview techniques were used. In introduction part, Yedi Bucak Avşars were introduced briefly and the term visit was explained in the next chapter. The thesis of visiting resulted from the religious approach of the community was explained with the sample of Yedi Bucak Avsars. In this study not only the sacred places were introduced but also the belief practices were analysed which were formed on the basic of these places. Visit places were examined as two groups: the ones in the area and the ones outside the area. Visit places in the area are sub-classified as Tekke Ören, Himmet Dede, Ziyaret Kayası, Ziyaretin Dere, Mamad’ın Pınarı, Üç Taş and Tekke. Visit places outside are mentioned successively with their names. The phenomenon of visiting was classified as the formation of visit places, legends and memorat about them, visiting times and places, typology of visiting applied practises and the aim of visiting. While classified issues were analysed in a detailed way, this topic was also emphasized in means of Turkish culture history and folk science. In the last part of the study, with the gathered information, a conclusion was succeded and some assuptions were mentioned.
