Villain or Hero. Personal Archives and Their Use in Biographical Research

Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the issue of personal archival collections, the possibilities of their attainment, archival processing methods and ways of their further use for research. This study is also devoted to specific contents of personal archival collections, as well as to the disclosure of personal collections to researchers and other persons. In conclusion, this article looks at the use of personal collections in history teaching in schools.
