Summary/Abstract: An aim of considerations is to identify the formation of strategies of financing the five listed meat companies in the years 2007-2013. The research findings were received with the use of the method of financial analysis based on the average values of the sectoral indicators. For the purpose of analysis were used financial data from annual balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flows of the entities in question available in Monitor Polski B (Official Gazette of the Republic of Poland). The research shows that the diversity of the implemented strategies in the area of financing, liquidity, and profitability of activities depended on the level of achieved liquidity and return on equity, what affected effectiveness of activities of the enterprises surveyed. The analysis findings indicate the validity of carrying out further work in this respect.
