Summary/Abstract: The continuation of the widespread use of ICT is the education by applying the elementsof games, implemented within the framework of tourism as an interactive and creativeforms of sightseeing. The article presents an unconventional tools to educate touristsand engagement of the local community through outdoor games, questing, geocatching,storytelling, LARP etc. Attractive, but little-known areas are an ideal space for educationwithin the modern sense of tourism based on cultural and natural heritage. Methods oftourist activation were presented for selected examples. The opportunities and benefitsof active discovery of tourist values also were pointed out. The idea of interactive andcreative exploring of open space refers to the interests and functioning way of a newgeneration of tourists.
