Summary/Abstract: The article presents the consumption behaviour of families caring for children with disabilities in the selected services markets. In the present study, the authors examined the sources of expenditure on services, use of services focusing on the support of development of the disabled child/children. The studies have shown that households with a child or children with disabilities in the first place are trying to meet the needs of such children. The article analyses the findings of qualitative (FGI and IDI) and quantitative (CATI and CAWI) research conducted in 2014 and 2015 for the needs of the research project funded by the National Science Centre, which covered families caring for children with disability up to 18 years of age.
