Summary/Abstract: A significant contribution of vocational education development in Czestochowa, during the interwar period brought the Sisters of the Resurrection, which undertook a thorough preparation of young girls to work in commerce and industry. Initially educational activities sisters in Czestochowa were held in the nature of the conspiracy. Sisters were leading classes not only to adoptive girls professionally, but also educating them about prohibited items such as the catechism and Polish history. Religious and patriotic education were the core of this professional education. Feminine School of Commerce was opened September 1st, 1918 year. The school had two directions: industrial and commercial. The industrial course was preparing students for work in the tailoring and undergarment. In the year 1925–1926 the management of the school decided to open two additional specialization: millinery and knitting. The facility enjoyed a high reputation within Czestochowa’s society. Among other things appropriately selected teaching staff consisting of sisters and lay teachers has huge contribution with school success.
