Summary/Abstract: School of Economics Polish Merchants Association was founded in 1921 in Czestochowa. The direct cause of the school rising was dynamic development of trade and industry after independence. Initially, school graduates were only young men, educating towards the trade direction. In 1931, the facility was converted to co-education – the direct result of this decision was significant increase of student’s number. School educational staff was represented by highly qualified teachers. Combined it with the profile of education has resulted in the preparation of high-class specialists in the field of trade, banking and government. In the school operate of the following organizations: Self Help, College of Graduates, 102 Scout Zagłębiowska Team named after Stefan Żółkiewski, male choir and issued biweekly “Daybreak” by students of the School of Economics.
