Summary/Abstract: Academical education today cannot be reduced to equip students with the knowledge, collecting information by him but it should be understood as a process of perfecting of methodological competences that let the student to aim to cognitive autonomy. Academic education is a space in which a young man should also have a chance to improve axiological competences which let to discover and to give new meaning of his own acting, being the foundation of the student’s existential independence. Methodological and axiological competences remain in inseparable connection setting the direction of the student’s optimal development.
