Summary/Abstract: The notion of reflection becomes extraordinary crucial for the teaching profession itself and its function in the educational space. The thing that seems to speak for it especially is the nature and characteristics of pedagogical activities which require critical reflection (uniqueness of educational situations, intellectual character of undertaken activities, ambivalence of professional role etc.) Critical reflection allows building of teachers' individual theories which constitute a kind of functional educational map of educational reality and foster teachers’ professional development.
