Summary/Abstract: Essence of main key concepts of research (“globalization”, “globalization of education”, “culture”, “paradigm” and others like that) is found out in the article. Main factors which determine the influence of globalization on the vital spheres of modern society and on such important spheres of human existence, as education and culture life are specified. Attention is given to the historical challenges for the XXI century education related to the processes of globalization. Expediency of paradigmatic approach in assessing the challenges of globalization for development of education is justified. Methodological principles of research of cultural paradigm of education in the context of challenges of globalization are theoretically interpreted.
