Summary/Abstract: In the context of consumption and multicultural Western societies, as well as in consideration of the history of Poland (the Polish Republic) and its unique culture, the author attempts to research and analyze the normative truth in its relation to such contemporary crucial issues as: history, society and education – especially important for the Polish society and nation, when it comes to the concepts of civil society and knowledge society at the present stage of civilizational fulfillment of globalized Western (European) societies.
