Summary/Abstract: „A Journey against the Will” is a narrative of a cruel experience which eight-yearoldHalina Witkowska had to go through when she was deported to a Siberian forced laborcamp together with her mother and brother. She was in the USSR from 1939 to 1942, fromwhere she then got to Teheran travelling along General Wladyslaw Anders’ Trail, and later– through India to Mexico. She returned to Poland in 1946. Now Mrs Witkowska lives inSiedlce.
