Summary/Abstract: In the period of years 2000–2006, what is just before and after Poland’s accession to the EU Wroclaw residential real estate market has been growing and experiencing clear liveliness. Both the privatizations of public premises (belonging to the Treasury, Wroclaw borough, legal persons) as well as private market transactions have been gaining the growth of the turnover and growth of the flats prices. In the rush demand for dwellings on one hand and low new homes supply on the housing cooperative’s and developer’s market on the other hand, the continuation of this process shall be expected. In addition the level of prices in Wroclaw will reach the level of other European metropolis soon.
