Summary/Abstract: The present paper is the result of the author’s few years experience, observations and practice in using the programme called Original Play with children and youngsters around the globe. The topic of the article is love and the value of Original Play® in making it a reality. In the light of her experience with using this programme the author attempts to answer a few questions: How to remain in contact with the child so that s/he feels loved, feels someone important, someone who has their own dignity? As parents or teachers we often declare we love our children. What to do to make such declarative statements real and not abstract? How to bridge the gap between the world of children and the world of adults, which so often remain in conflict? The author of the paper emphasizes it is crucial to view the process of upbringing as a process of sharing love. She brings out and shows the potential of Original Play® as a tool to fulfil this aim.
