Summary/Abstract: There may be differences in the international negotiation process, such as cultural and mental differences, the choice of negotiators, the religious diversity, the political system, the country, the place of the negotiations, the time, the language and the currency. Significant factors influencing the negotiations are cultural and mental differences, which often determine the course of negotiations. Ideological diversity is an important barrier to international contracts and limits the possibility for negotiators to reach agreement. Despite the progressive globalization, boundaries between independent, state-owned and legal states are still very important.
