CATERING APPROACH TOWARDS DIVIDEND POLICY AMID COMPANIES LISTED ON THE WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE

Summary/Abstract: In paper we discuss the problem of catering theory of dividends. There are presented results of research on applying that theory for explaining dividend policy used by companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The research has been focused on the relation between number of companies paying dividends and initiating payment, and stock price premium for dividend.
