The unpublished documents of Bârlad from the patrimony of the National History Museum of Romania

Summary/Abstract: In the collections of the National Museum of History of Romania there is a batch of fifty documents concerning "The city fair of Bārlad". The documents are from the years 1816-1870 and relate to social, economic, toponymic, onomastic, heraldic and cultural aspects of local history. A first batch of documents from the years 1816-1846 contains sales and purchases from the same large land area around Bârlad, which belonged to Profiriţa Micleasca. The second batch of documents contains papers, acts of sale / purchase of landed property, inns and rarely small possessions. The documents have the seal of the city of Bārlad and sometimes the Justice of Peace of the department of Tutova
