Summary/Abstract: The object which forms the subject of this study, a pin dated 1767, is a common metal test which was to be struck in noble metal. The prince intended to celebrate his ten years of reign in the two Romanian principalities. The coat-of-arms of Moldavia and Wallachia showed the territories in which it reigned, in turn. The coat-of-arms stamped on the clip has a keen interest especially from the point of view of Romanian heraldry. The presentation for the first time in the shield of the colors of enamels (azure and red) is a testimony to the fact that this is the starting point of choice for two of the future colors of the Romanian national flag
