Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some selected differences in the terminology anddescriptions between logopaedics and the disciplines on the research of whichlogopaedics relies. Moreover, the terminology of logopaedics is considered fromthe perspective of linguistics (mainly phonetics) and medicine.
