Summary/Abstract: The 1961 archaeological excavations at the Prince's Palace in Târgovişte resulted in the discovery, among other things, of about 35-40 pan tiles, 4 whole or fragmentary, dating from the second half of the 17th century. Among these are those with the central decorative motif framed by the monogram "G-K". The pieces have the following ornaments: flower vase, city wall with five towers supported by the calyx of a flower, the emblem of the city of Braşov. It is worth noting the very fine artistic execution and polychrome enamel (cobalt blue, green, havons, white slip) which gives a luster apart from the pieces. The monogram is interpreted for: G (enossen schaft) - K (ronstadt), therefore The Kronstadt association (Braşov). One of the decorative motifs of these tiles, The city wall with five towers, flanked by the monogram "G - K", is also encountered on pieces from Transylvania - from Deva and Cluj
