Summary/Abstract: Using the articles from the daily newspapers, the author tries to re-create the enthusiastic atmosphere that surrounded Romanian Exhibition within "The world's fair" from New York. He puts an accent on the excellent organizing of the show due mostly to the general manager, the famous sociologist Dimitrie Gusti, the initiator of the events celebrating the National Day of Romania ( 10-14 May 1939). He describes the two Romanian pavilions build following the plans of architects G.M. Cantacuzino and Octav Doicescu. Showing inside alabaster poles, the ceilings out of salt blocks, the floor out of Ruschita marble, the buildings were hiding masterpieces of Romanian sculpture and paintings, as a successful adding to Brancusi exhibition "Art in aur time" brought in the Museum of Modern Art
