The liability of the service provider towards the consumer for the defectiveness of the contracting and performance based on the specific task contract

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author was involved in presenting the legal provisions of a work contract as one of the widely used service contracts in the market. In the first part, the author approached the definition of this contract, paying attention to interpretation difficulties in contrast to the contract of engagement. The definition of the performance criteria of a professional service provider is further elaborated. It was assumed that the performance criteria of the contract stem from many laws regulating the market and protection of services provided to consumers while at the same time drawing attention to the importance of judicial decisions in the interpretation of legal regulations.
