Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the establishment and activities of the Free Czechoslovak Air Force Association in Great Britain in the years 1951–2016. Firstly, it focuses on a general introduction of the topic and provides information about persecution of former Czechoslovak pilots, members of RAF, by the Military Counter-Intelligence after war and about preparations of their persecution after February 1948. Secondly, it discusses a departure of pilots into exile, a context of the establishment of the Free Czechoslovak Air Force Association in 1951 as well as its activities in selected periods of time until the year 2016. Finally, the paper shows the participation of pilots, former members of RAF, in the restoration of democracy in Czechoslovakia in the years 1948–1989 and results of the Association’s activities from 1989 to 2016.
