Possibilities for Risk Reduction of European Projects for Increasing the Energy Efficiency of Buildings

Summary/Abstract: The risk of European energy efficiency projects is inherent and the role of management is to implement measures to eliminate, reduce or accept the risk. In this regard, the researched issues are relevant and significant in view of the lack of studies on the risk reduction in such projects. In this paper, the authors study some theoretical and practical aspects of risk in European energy efficiency projects in order to propose possible measures for risk reduction. Тhe paper outlines the essential of projects for increasing the energy efficiency of buildings, the nature of their risk and the possibilities for reduction of internal and external risks of European projects.
