Summary/Abstract: Co-operation instead of confrontation: This article deals with a possible trilateral collaboration between Germany, Norway and the Russian Federation in respect of exploration and exploitation of fossil fuels in Europe’s High North in the long-term. The envisaged project can be considered as possible best practice for peaceful coexistence a current crisis-shaken Europe.
