Summary/Abstract: In this article, the authors aimed at induce to reflection some reflections concerning some strategic and development challenges that Poland should deal with. The issues disused in this paper concern safety, administration, welfare state and public finance. Many aspects discussed seem to be current topics, especially discussion around companies of the state treasury.Many questions appear, among them: to what extent the state interference is in the development and citizens favor, and what steps are slowing the economy down in and is limiting civil liberties.
