Summary/Abstract: Income is one of the most important measures of social inequality. It is a big influence on almost all aspects of life, but the most influence on the development of educational opportunities. The aim of the work is to verify the income and educational opportunities for children and young people in Mazowieckie, relations between them and an indication of trends that could lead to a reduction of these disparities in the various districts of the regions of Mazowieckie. To achieve the objective used mainly statistical method, but also the methods of descriptive and comparative.Article begins with a theoretical part, followed by statistical analysis to in the final part of the move to try to assess the level of inequality of educational opportunities in the region Mazowieckie, and identify ways that could help to reduce these inequalities. Article preceded by an introduction and completed the formulation of conclusions. You should look for solutions that will be aimed at leveling the playing field between the inhabitants of Warsaw,and the inhabitants of the rest of the province, because the imbalances are still very high.
