Spatial differentiation of the infrastructure of municipalities of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Local government is the employer, client, customer and investor. His actions have a direct or indirect impact on the local economy, on the processes taking place in it, the quality and level of infrastructure. The aim of this article is to define and describe the synthetic indicator for determining the level of infrastructure in municipalities Świętokrzyskie based on selected characteristics. The interests of the community, in terms of networks, is the result of the effects of the activities residents,businesses and other local actors. Infrastructure is very important for the processes taking place in the local economy. It is a kind of investment proposal and offer the necessary conditions for doing business, it is condition for the existence and can also affect the growth of competitiveness.Assessment of local infrastructure is a difficult task, requires taking into account many different variables as fully as possible characterizing the phenomenon in terms of networks.
