Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to point to the reciprocity, connections, similarities and differences between two scientific disciplines. Using the knowledge of relevant historical and archival literature, it has shown complete connection with a number of obvious examples. As long as it is possible to identify the causal links, many things are still considered inadequately explained. It is a general impression that historiography can’t be regarded as science without archival science, as well as archival science without historiography.
