Summary/Abstract: Current trends of understanding the role of universities in creating economic reality, apart fromthe research, refer to the educational process. More and more dynamically evolving and changinglabour market means that prospective employees need prior preparation to this process and understandingof its dynamics. It is therefore becoming increasingly important the observation of theenvironment and educational process adaptation to the realities of the labour market. However, apartfrom keeping up with the educational offer to the needs of the constantly changing requirements ofthe labour market, another type of educational match becomes important. A more effective solutionis to equip students themselves with the skills of self-organization and self-reliance in gaining education, which allows them to adapt to the current needs of the labour market. To equip the studentwith this type of ability, it is needed a change of the approach to the role of the university and paying more attention to classes educating entrepreneurial competencies. These types of activities includesimulation games, case studies analysis and project-oriented classes. These are forms of activitiesconducive to the education of entrepreneurial attitudes, involving students in the implementation of activities. As a result, graduates more easily adapt to the needs of the changing labor market requirements, educating and improving skills through self-making training or additional education. Apartfrom independence in adapting to the demands of the environment and adapting of their competenciesto the needs of companies such people are also able to independently use acquired skills andknowledge by pursuing self-employment. Self-employment is also currently linked to employment, which is somehow a form of commitment to working people who already hold a certain level of entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the just decision of self-employment.
