About parliamentary issues concerning the access to information

Summary/Abstract: The Author discusses parliamentary issues concerning the access to information, which include two groups. On one hand the deputies’ right to access to information classified as ,,confidential” (within the meaning of the Act on the Protection of Confidential Information) in the exercise of their mandate is analyzed. On the other hand, the analysis is extended to the citizens’ constitutional right to obtain information in regard to documents concerning the work of the internal bodies of the Polish Parliament (the Presidium of the Sejm and the Council of Elders).
