Summary/Abstract: Detection and investigation of crime is complex activity that requires good cooperation between investigators and other participants in this process: detectives, experts, technical assistants and others. Interaction as a collective form of work is most pronounced in the investigation of crimes by an unknown perpetrator. Depending on the legal regulation the forms of interaction are procedural and non-procedural. The interaction between detectives and other structures of Ministry of Interior participating in non-procedural actions is organized by the head of the operational unit. Procedural steps are referred to the Criminal Procedure Code and carried out by the investigating authorities under the supervision of the prosecutor. The full use of knowledge and experience of all specialists ensures maximum efficiency in the work of detectives and investigators, aimed at rapid detection of crime and retention of its perpetrator.
