Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to investigate, on the basis of the selected print, the frequency and the content of media reporting about the problems of the local electronic media transformation in Vojvodina. For the purpose of the research, qualitative and quantitative methods of media discourse analysis have been used together with the interpretation of the content of the journalistic texts from the newspapers Dnevnik, Politika, Danas, Večernje novosti and Pregled. The sample includes 104 texts that were published between October 2006 and October 2009. The analysis shows dominantly negative attitude (62% of the total number of agents’ attitudes towards objects) of the experts, media associations and local media themselves towards the government, regulatory and state agencies. Following this finding we can conclude that there is a huge part of public that opposes politics, i.e. attitudes of the government towards the media.
