Justice of „restorative justice”

Summary/Abstract: The contemporary debate on justice in criminal law is looking for points of contact between retributive and restorative paradigms. The borders of the two opposing approaches, which were clear until recently, have become blurred. The Author presents two main issues of the dispute and seeks their common denominator. The primary aim seems to be creating solutions beneficial to all entities, building trust in public institutions and a sense of legal security of citizens included in the process of achieving justice that is less frequently understood purely formally in favor of the greater importance of the restoration of public confidence.
