Summary/Abstract: Authors present the standard IS015489 - Information and Documentation - Record Management, which was adopted in Montreal on October 3, 2001. They have also presented different notion of documents, especially among the Anglo-American "Records" and "Anketen" in Germany. They tried to evaluate the activity of the office administration in the state administration in Slovenia.
