Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the research and development concept and its support to the Slovak state defense. It compares the latter with the Manifest of the Government Slovak Republic, dated 2016. It shows on mistakes and wrong steps in military policy oriented to support military science and research.In conclusion shows on some solutions to development military science and research to next years.
