Old Prints Selection Criteria for Restoration in the Library of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University

Summary/Abstract: The collections of the Library of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University includes an unique selection of old prints from libraries of theological faculties of Jagiellonian University and University of Warsaw, both abolished in 1954. In order to make the old prints available to researchers many of them need to be subjected to conservation work. In the article the author tried to show the criteria taken into account when choosing the first part of the old prints for restoration and digitization works.
