Summary/Abstract: The article gives a brief update of the biographical data and the works of the great writers again, but also presents the importance of the literary circles of that era in the development of his work. Very important is the journalistic activity of the writer in exile, and his effort to create a connection and an understanding between France and Germany through the cultural ways. Heine was one of the greatest figures of German culture, which was enthusiastically received by the Romanian literature, where he has even created a fashion. The influence of the German writer among the Romanian personalities proves itself not only in the large number of translations of the poetry of the German poet, but also in the numerous articles about the writer who was published in the press of that time and even in the imitation of his lyrics by the Romanian poets.
