Communicative and Linguistic Functions of Television Sequences

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we made a point of the effects of TV series on people who watch TV series unconsciously. This effects are analyzed in terms of mentality, language, non-linguistic elements and dressing style. With this aim, we focused on theoretic chapter in second part of this paper and examined the views of some scientists on TV such as Hickethier, Mikos, Lichtung and Fiske. Moreover, surver questions are evaluated by using some data analysis programs such as Minitab, SPSS and R.
