“Twenty years” – broken apart: Transfiguration of Felix Somló

Summary/Abstract: This study scrutinizes the career of Felix Somló, the most respectful representative of Hungarian legal philosophy, taking his journal-entries assources. The study claims that while regular approach holds that Somló’s career may be divided into two periods by 1910, which periods are in direct opposition with each other, in reality his career consists of three parts. The third period which culminates in the manuscript of Prima Philosophia proves to show the biggest break within all of his work, and the failure of his manuscript’s conception is partly responsible for the tragic end of his life.
