Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article are moral choices of young Poles in the eighties of the XX century. Although the source of information are reports prepared for the order of PZPR, the article is not only an attempt of their reinterpretation. It is attempt to reconstruct the image of the generation, which living in difficult conditions of the totalitarian state. Youth had to build a space their own sovereignty. Where did they (we) seek the sources of freedom? What was the most important for them (for us), What was PRL for them (for us), what was Poland? These are the most important questions in this text, I hope the reader will find the answers reading it.
