Summary/Abstract: This article proposes to present work methods and techniques for some Roman assets. We refer to two fine vessels terra sigillata discovered on the territory of town Apulum in Principia of the Roman fort of XIII Gemina Legion. The two objects are different as for decoration, one displaying relief decoration, and the other one barbotine decoration from the category of plain terra sigillata. Restoration methods are similarly different, as regards ceramics with relief decoration; recovery of gap area was made by realisation of plaster mould in the corresponding area that followed to be completed. For the second vessel we used the classical method of remaking the profile, employing the technique of inside print on modelling clay mould, finally obtaining the original shape of the vessel. Restoration of such ceramic pieces followed also improving knowledge connected with recomposing fine terra sigillata, especially that with relief decoration.
