Summary/Abstract: Disputes over the final settlement of the fiscal cliff issue will adversely affect American economy in both short and long perspectives. Forecasts for the economic recovery in second part of 2013 may prove too optimistic, as there are still many factors threatening growth in Europe. Exports will continue to be the driving force of growth in 2013 but it’s contribution to GDP will decline.
