Summary/Abstract: The main topic raised in this article is Sofia Cavalletti’s idea of religious education, which is closely related to historical message and educates to understanding what memory in liturgy really means. The aim of the article is to present briefly theoretical basis of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for second and third level of religious education (children 6–12 years old). This approach is based on the method of signs and it introduces children to the history and memory of the Chosen People.
