Summary/Abstract: After partial access to the records of users and use of archive materials in the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we found that archive holdings that have surfaced in the form of analytical inventory or those who have a well managed and preserved the basic records (The visa protocols and registers) are far more used then those funds for which only guides or just a summary inventories were made. Users of archives are interested in specific topics, and they want as easily and as quickly to reach the required data. Likewise in daily contact with customers (especially young people) who would like to explore specific topics, we noticed that there are fewer of those who are willing to patiently flip through documents. Young people, after receiving information that a fund that interests them is not computer-processed, no longer come. Thread the users and usage of archives in BiH archives should detail the process because we would then find out: who are the users of archives, how much material benefits, which city is the most used, subjects are handled, that books have been written on the basis of this material, that the exhibition held, how many applications have and how (positive or negative) and the like. The records of users and the usable archives in the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina are neatly guided from the very beginning of his activities. In the records we can find information about all users, the funds that were used, topics that have been investigated and the applications that are addressed.
