Summary/Abstract: Law is an essential part of existence and functionality of every human community. Law, as well as a society, is like a living organism – it comes to existence, lives and dies. Life of law is always connected with change in law. The paper’s aim is to present some of the factors of the modification in law. The factors taken under consideration areas follows: sociological, cultural, and economical. They all come from the life of society what is well articulated by an ancient motto – ius sequitur vitam. It is very important for a legislator to be aware of the necessity of change in law in regard to the level of development of society, and, on the other hand, he must know well what is unchangeable in legal system.
